About the museum
The FIFA Museum opened on February 28, 2016, in Zurich-Enge, just a few steps from Enge station. It occupies the lower floors of the "Haus zur Enge," a 1970s building by Werner Stücheli, which was renovated between 2009 and 2015. The FIFA Museum AG is the operator.
The exhibition spans more than 3,000 square meters on three floors and features over one thousand objects from international football history. The tour begins with a video wall showing football from around the world, leads to "The Rainbow," a 35-meter-long display case with jerseys of all 211 member associations, past the "Timeline" on the history of the game, and the "Foundations" on FIFA's 1904 founding, to the grand World Cup gallery. There, the World Cup trophy and the Women's World Cup trophy are on permanent display; since January 2026, the Club World Cup trophy is also permanently displayed.
The facility includes a cinema with a 180-degree screen, the "eFootball: The Virtual Pitch" section on esports culture, and as a finale, a large pinball machine with five disciplines. The museum also hosts children's workshops, tours, and vacation programs and presents rotating special exhibitions. In 2026, the museum celebrates its tenth anniversary.
