About the museum
Little Crosby is a village north of Liverpool that belongs largely to the Blundell family, who have been lords of the manor since the Middle Ages, and it is known as one of the oldest surviving Roman Catholic villages in England. The village museum is housed in former farm buildings on the main road through the village.
Its displays concentrate on village life and local history. The collection ranges from petrol pumps and pieces of machinery to toys and magic lanterns, together with a number of displays of old farm tools.
The museum is one of several small attractions in the village, together with the courtyard of the Well Barn with its shops and a café. Details of current opening arrangements are not published online.
