About the museum
The Time Trap Museum occupies the former police cells and the prisoner exercise area beneath Grimsby Town Hall. The visit is presented as a journey through time along dark, twisting corridors, with the cell setting giving the displays an unusual backdrop.
The exhibits follow the growth of Grimsby into what was once the largest fishing port in the world. They also cover local life, law and order, illness and death, and the town's politics.
