About the museum
The farm museum is part of the Streitberghof of the Schafflinger family in the Hinterschneeberg district, in a quiet elevated location between Bad Hofgastein and Bad Gastein. The family has gathered collectors' items, former everyday objects and tools there that tell of the modest life and work on a farm without modern technology and without stress.
The motto of the house is that all of this should not be forgotten. Each piece has its own story, which is told on a guided tour; the exhibition is interesting in any weather. The farm also includes the Kräuterplatzl, a demonstration garden that is open daily from May to October.
