About the museum
The Langers Lanz-Bulldog Hof in Niel-bij-As, a sub-municipality of As, is a museum of antique tractors. It centres on the private collection of Walter Langers, who personally guides visitors and shows them the tractors.
The core of the museum consists of restored and refurbished tractors of the Lanz-Bulldog make from the first half of the twentieth century. There is also a well-preserved collection of agricultural machines and implements, some of which can be driven by sturdy stationary engines. So you see not only the tractors themselves but also the machines they worked with.
With the koolzaadmobiel (rapeseed mobile), the museum builds a link between present and past. Children can learn old crafts there, such as milking a cow and turning skipping ropes. The museum can only be visited by appointment; a tour takes about two hours.
