About the museum

The Film Legends Museum is a private project of collectors of film exhibits. The first branch opened in Prague in 2015; in 2016 a museum followed in Poděbrady, and later branches in Kroměříž, Český Krumlov and Kutná Hora. Each branch has a different focus and a different atmosphere.

The Kutná Hora branch is located in historic cellars in the town centre on Šultysova Street, near the Plague Column. It is designed as a special sci-fi exhibition, also known as the Aliens vs Predator Experience Museum. Visitors can see more than 300 exhibits – replicas, masks, models and figures of characters from the series Alien, Predator and Alien vs. Predator, supplemented by information about the creators such as James Cameron, Ridley Scott and H. R. Giger.

The exhibition also includes a supplementary show of horror icons and fan objects from the Terminator series. The operator stresses that this is not a waxworks museum, but a collection of finely detailed collectors’ sculptures and replicas.
