About the museum

The Museum of Bricks in Prague is the largest of five museums run by the same operator; the others are in Kutná Hora, Špindlerův Mlýn, Poděbrady and Hatě u Znojma. According to its own description, the Prague branch on Národní Street has the largest floor area and the most exhibits of all of them.

Across 420 m², there are 20 themed exhibitions containing 3,000 unique models made from more than a million bricks. You can find models of Prague landmarks, for example Karlův most (Charles Bridge), the National Museum, the Staroměstský orloj (Old Town Astronomical Clock) and the National Theatre, but also Chrám Vasila Blaženého (St Basil's Cathedral), the Trevi Fountain or Krtek (the Mole). Other exhibitions are devoted to knights, trains, Star Wars and Harry Potter. Visitors also learn about the history and development of the LEGO brand; for example, that the first building sets were made of wood. The museum is operated by the company LeMi CZ s.r.o.
