About the museum
The Espace Richelieu occupies a restored 17th-century town mansion at 28 Grande Rue, in the new town founded by Cardinal Richelieu. It complements the Musée de Richelieu, housed in the town hall, and is visited with its own ticket.
The interactive route tells the story of the cardinal and the history of his town. A three-dimensional reconstruction brings the château of Richelieu, which no longer exists, back to life. On the second floor, temporary exhibitions with free admission are presented depending on the season.
