About the museum
The Musée archéologique du Minervois is run by the Centre de recherche et de documentation du Minervois (CRDM), a popular education association based in Olonzac. The association carries out archaeological research, runs the museum and offers activities for the general public and for schools.
The collections bring together objects from excavations, from the Palaeolithic to the Roman period, as well as minerals and fossils. The museum also hosts temporary exhibitions, lectures, a colloquium and workshops for children and adults, for example on mosaic and pottery.
