About the museum
The Musée de l'Illusion in Paris belongs to an international network of illusion museums. The French group also operates sites in Lyon, Marseille, Bordeaux and Lille.
The museum is on Rue Saint-Denis in the 1st arrondissement, near Les Halles. The route combines optical illusions, holograms and immersive rooms, including the Tunnel Vortex and the Salle de l'infini.
Each space is accompanied by a scientific explanation of vision, perception and how the brain works. Visitors can take photos in the sets and try out the effects themselves.

By car
