About the museum
The Arlanc museum is devoted to hand-made lace, from the 16th century to the contemporary lace industry. It presents the know-how behind this heritage, and bobbin and needle lace, a specialty of Arlanc.
The visit includes four exhibition rooms, an audiovisual documentary and guided tours. The museum is part of the “Route de la dentelle” (lace route), a circuit linking several lace and textile sites, including Brioude, Le Puy-en-Velay, Bresle and Retournac.
