About the museum

At the OBUT site in Saint-Bonnet-le-Château, where the brand’s balls are made, a scenographic trail covers the history of OBUT since 1955. It presents the executives, products, personalities and events that shaped the brand and the world of pétanque.

The trail can be visited independently in about a quarter of an hour. A game booklet is available for young visitors, and a restored OBUT estafette has been converted into play areas. A free audio guide in French and English, lasting about 30 minutes, is available at the shop reception.

The site also houses a shop, a restaurant, seven pétanque courts and three seminar rooms.
