About the museum
The Bauernmuseum Neuzelle is located on the premises of the Agrargenossenschaft Neuzelle agricultural cooperative in the Lindenpark, directly beside the Neuzeller Bauernmarkt (farmers' market). The cooperative, founded in 1991, displays farm equipment and original documents that trace the development of agriculture in the region.
The museum offers demonstrations: by appointment, visitors can see how butter used to be made. There were also events for kindergartens and schools at Easter and Christmas, as well as on the potato days, which were arranged by phone.
The museum opens for registered groups. The site can be reached via the Ossendorfer Chaussee or the Slawengrund, and parking is right nearby.
