About the museum
The Dorfmuseum Niederlinxweiler is housed in the primary school building in the St. Wendel district of Niederlinxweiler and is run by the Interessengemeinschaft Niederlinxweiler Vereine (association of the village's clubs).
It presents themes from rural everyday life, such as the path from flax to linen and from milk to butter, along with measuring and weighing equipment. A postcard collection documents the village from 1898 to 1998, a photo exhibition covers local history, and there is extensive archive material as well.
