The local history museum was founded in 1990 on the initiative of Reinhold Rall, who spent years collecting household and everyday objects from the period between 1800 and 1950.
It is housed in the Grüner Hof in the center of the village, in one of the oldest houses in Eningen. Today the local history and heritage society looks after the building and organizes temporary exhibitions, children's workshops, guided tours and festivals throughout the year.
