About the museum
The Heimatverein Jügesheim (local heritage association) runs a museum at Vordergasse 59 on about 80 square meters, which combines two themes: earth history and the history of the town.
In the earth history section, four display cases show fossils and minerals from all geological eras and illustrate how life has developed. The local history section is devoted to Jügesheim, which has been a district of Rodgau since the municipal reform of 1977. It tells the story of the town and its industry, with a focus on leather processing, and also includes an old living kitchen.
