About the museum
The Waltersweier local history museum was set up in 1990. It occupies about 130 square meters in the attic of the former school, which lies behind the local administration in the village center.
The collection shows objects from the last 150 years. It is organized into five themed areas: crafts, household, agriculture and rural life, religion, and school. The pieces include historic flatirons and candlesticks, which bring the households of past generations vividly to life.
