About the museum
The Heimatstube in the Cumlosen village community center bears the name of the nature lover Willi Westermann. The center, also known as the Dorfgemeinschaftszentrum Rolandswurt, lies directly on the Elbe in the UNESCO biosphere reserve Flusslandschaft Elbe-Brandenburg. The exhibition connects the region's nature with village history.
On display are taxidermied animals, agricultural tools, household items, and spinning wheels. Tours also cover the life and work of Willi Westermann. In the neighboring Küsterhaus (sexton's house) is the Galerie Rolandswurt.
