About the museum
The Trecker-Veteranen-Club Werther was founded on June 8, 1987, on the initiative of Wilfried Tiede and like-minded people who shared a love of old tractors. Two years later, in 1989, the club set up an exhibition in the former premises of the agricultural engineering firm Tiede on Straße Esch.
On display are tractors, agricultural machinery and farm implements from the years 1850 to 1950. The items belong to club members and are still in working order; because they are privately owned, the collection changes from time to time. Twice a year the club holds outings with the old tractors, and once a year a threshing festival takes place.
