About the museum
The Erdőspusztai Bemutatóház (Erdőspuszta Exhibition House) is part of the Bánki pihenőcentrum (Bánki recreation centre) east of Debrecen, on the Erdőspuszta. The most important element of the education centre is the 15-hectare arboretum, the planting of which began in 1978, and in which the plants of the 16 floristic provinces of the Central European flora area are presented. The exhibition of the exhibition house presents the way of life of foresters, the farming relics of the people of the landscape, and the botanical, entomological and ornithological rarities of the area, as well as its archaeological finds. The exhibition house and the nature trail can be visited every day of the year.
