About the museum
The Törley Gyűjtemény és Látogatóközpont (Törley Collection and Visitor Centre) on Anna utca in Budafok presents more than one hundred and thirty years of the history of the Törley company. The museum section illustrates, with period relics and documents, how sparkling wine culture took shape and developed in Hungary.
The presentation covers, among other things, the Chevaliers Törley Pezsgőrend, the memorabilia of the François family from 1886, and the history of the Hungaria Pezsgőpincészet, founded in 1955. The exhibition space is built in the shape of a sparkling wine cork: visitors move from the cork into a bottle and then into a glass.
The visit also includes a maturation cellar, with bottle stacks, riddling racks and many hundreds of thousands of bottles, where traditional methods and newer technologies are presented. The visit ends with a tasting.

| Good to know | Guided visits are possible only with registration. Under-18s may visit only with a parent or teacher; food may not be brought in, and pets may not be brought in. The cellar temperature is 12–14 °C, so suitable clothing is recommended. |
