About the museum
The Műszaki Tanulmánytár is a branch of the Magyar Műszaki és Közlekedési Múzeum (MMKM) in Prielle Kornélia utca in Újbuda. It is a special exhibition space: in rooms that form a transition between the exhibition and the storage, visitors can learn about the development of Hungarian technological history.
The collection preserves more than 16,000 objects, from simple household implements to world-famous inventions, and presents technical objects of the past centuries and of recent times.
The Mobileum machine hall is also open to visitors, where they can get to know the most important stages of 150 years of Hungarian machine development in an interactive way.
