About the museum
The Unicum Ház is the visitor centre and museum of Zwack Unicum Nyrt. on the grounds of the factory on Soroksári út. The factory, founded by Zwack József in 1840, moved in 1892 to the Danube-side plot on Soroksári út, where it still stands. Apart from the more than forty years of communism, the family has always owned the factory.
The visit begins with a 270-degree immersive projection on the history of the Zwack family and of Unicum, followed by a guided tour of the old distillery and cellar. In the exhibition space an audio guide assists visitors, and at the end of the tour a tasting is offered. Unicum is one of the best-known Hungarian hungaricums (national treasures); its recipe is a family secret, and it is matured in oak barrels in the cellar.
On the premium tour, guests also enter the Unicum Trezor XO cellar. In the Zwack Mintabolt (Zwack Sample Shop), visitors can buy strong spirits with a 5% discount on the day of their visit.

The individual adult ticket price includes the projection, the guided tour, the exhibition space that can be visited with an audio guide, and a tasting of Unicum and Unicum Szilva. SZÉP cards (K&H, OTP, MKB) are accepted on site.

About a 5-minute walk from Boráros tér; by tram 2 or 24 to the Haller utca / Soroksári út stop.

Paid parking
On Dandár utca and the surrounding streets parking is allowed for up to 3 hours; on weekdays from 8:00 to 20:00 it is subject to a fee.
The visitor centre is at 1 Dandár utca, which opens onto Soroksári út.
