About the museum
The Champorcher visitor centre is housed in Villa Biamonti, an early 20th-century villa that the park bought from the Municipality in 2006. The ground floor has an information office and a reception room.
On the first floor the exhibition is devoted to the geology and morphology of the Dondena valley (vallone di Dondena), with photographs, samples, models and a relief model with thematic maps. The second floor presents flora, vegetation, fauna and pastoral activities, with information on small and large predators.
