About the museum
La Fabbrica dei Suoni is a museum trail in Venasca, in the Valle Varaita, run by a social cooperative that has a second site in Boves. It is designed for the whole family and recommended from the age of 6.
The guided tour explains how sounds and noises are created, lets visitors experiment with their qualities and introduces musical instruments from around the world. The trail is indoors, so it goes ahead even in bad weather.
The Venasca site is open to the public on fixed dates and by compulsory booking; for schools and groups, private visits, music workshops and courses are possible.
