About the museum
The house on Torcello was the home and workplace of Lucio Andrich (1927–2003) and his wife Clementina. An artist, printmaker and experimenter, Andrich worked in printmaking, painting, glass, silk and tapestry, finding in the landscape and life of the island the constant theme of his work.
The house overlooks the Palude della Rosa and has remained a lived-in home, where art and everyday life coexisted. Today guided tours lead through the rooms, the works, the garden and the surrounding lagoon landscape.
