About the museum
The museum in Oneta, in the Val del Riso, is a thematic museum of about 450 square metres, still being set up, which brings together three areas: ethnography, mining and science.
The ethnographic section includes hundreds of objects linked to the peasant world, to weaving and to the work of the woodcutter. The mining section presents period tools and a collection of minerals, and it is possible to visit a stretch of mine outside. Two rooms are dedicated to experiments on electromagnetism, sound, gases and radio transmissions, designed above all for school groups, who can take part actively.
