About the museum
The local museum of Laudes (Laatsch) has been housed since 2004 in the former granary of the presbytery (canonica), near the village parish church, in a building that had long been unused. It is run by the local museum association.
The collection is the work of a village collector, Norbert Schuster, who for more than forty years gathered farm tools, household implements and everyday objects from the Val Venosta. The museum holds several hundred of them and in this way documents work and life in the farmhouses of the area.
Visits are possible all year round by telephone appointment; admission is by voluntary donation.
