About the museum
The museum is located in Leca d’Albenga, in Piazza del Popolo, in the same building as the ANPI section “M.O. Felice Cascione”, near the Albenga motorway toll booth. It is dedicated to the history of the Resistance in the Ligurian I Operational Zone and to its protagonists.
Although it occupies a small space, it holds a great deal of material: photographs, display boards and documents arranged along a short visitor route. Visitors can also consult books and watch videos about Felice Cascione, Silvio Bonfante and the role of women in the Resistance.
The ANPI section arranges visits with schools of every level and is active with remembrance initiatives and commemorations in the area.
