About the museum
The San Siro Museum opened on 5 October 1996 inside the Giuseppe Meazza stadium, commonly known as San Siro, to tell the sporting heritage of the city's two clubs, Milan and Inter, and of the stadium itself.
Over time the display has been expanded with new historical memorabilia and interactive set-ups. Today the route includes a collection of historic shirts and objects, reproductions, models, interactive stations and large LED screens.
The visit is combined with a stadium tour that takes visitors to areas not normally open to the public: the dressing rooms of Milan and Inter, the mixed zone, the tunnel leading onto the pitch, the touchline and the benches. Separately, it is possible to buy the Skywalk experience, a walk on the stadium roof at a height of 55 metres.
