About the museum
The museum's collection includes historical bicycles made in Latvia, rare catalogues, films, awards and bicycle parts – bells, saddles, lamps and medals, many of which are more than 100 years old. The exhibition is also dedicated to Latvian cycling champions and traditions.
The museum works closely with the bicycle rental “E-pedālis” at Velogarāža, which offers bicycle hire for more active visits to Līgatne, and is part of the “Latvijas skolas soma” (Latvian School Bag) programme.
