About the museum
Antanas Mončys (1921–1993) was one of the most prominent Lithuanian modernists of the 20th century. At the end of the war he chose the path of an emigrant; he lived, worked and died in Paris, and in 45 years he returned to Lithuania only once. His work is preserved and exhibited in the museum in Palanga.
The museum's website presents facts from the artist's biography, sculptures, drawings, collages and other works. In 2021 the centenary of Antanas Mončys was marked in Lithuania.
