About the museum
The Vitarium belongs to the Luxlait dairy cooperative and is located at the Roost dairy site. Luxlait grew out of many small village dairies; today it is a modern, cooperatively run dairy that processes milk from farms in Luxembourg.
The Vitarium invites visitors on a playful journey of discovery around milk and dairy products. Interactive stations cover nature, the body and health, as well as the path of milk from the farm to the supermarket shelf. There is also a 3D cinema and cooking workshops; separate programmes are offered for schools, seniors and groups, along with a classic guided tour of the dairy.
