About the museum
Europa Experience in Warsaw is one of the interactive visitor centres of the European Parliament, which operate in the capitals of the European Union's member states. The Polish centre is housed in the building of the European Parliament Office at ul. Jasna and opened in June 2023.
The centre explains in an accessible way how the European Union works, its institutions and the law-making process, and how European decisions affect citizens' everyday lives. Visitors use multimedia stations, a three-dimensional map of Europe, a photo booth and an immersive 360° cinema showing a film about Europe on a continuous loop.
For groups there is a role-play game in which participants, over about two hours, take on the roles of Members of the European Parliament, debate, negotiate and vote on directives. The visit is free of charge, and the content is available in all 24 official languages of the Union.
