Have only individual sections read aloud
About the museum
The centre is housed in a school built in the twenties by the Sociedad de Naturales del Concejo de Boal in Havana, one of the institutions through which emigrants from Boal contributed to the education of their homeland.
The exhibition explains the overseas emigration from the municipality and its contribution to education. It includes a recreated classroom with original materials from the schools that emigrants built in the municipality.
The visit can be combined with a guided walk through the Indiano architecture (built by emigrants returning from the Americas) of the village of Bual and with the Centro de Interpretación de los Lavaderos.
