About the museum
In the 18th and 19th centuries the concejo (municipality) of Boal was intensely active in ironworking crafts and their trade. This interpretation centre tells that story and is housed in the former schools of Rozadas, an early 20th-century building funded with contributions from emigrants from the municipality who had settled in Havana.
The display brings together tools and objects used in smithies and forges, such as nails and hammers, which remained in use until the mid-20th century.
