About the museum
The Centro de Interpretación Huellas de Pasión in Medina del Campo is a modern space that uses new technologies to bring visitors closer to the town's Holy Week traditions, from their origins to the present day. It is linked to the hermitage of Nuestra Señora del Amparo, dating from the 16th century.
The visit begins with an audiovisual presenting the Huellas de Pasión route, a route through the town's churches. Among the most notable pieces are a “Cristo en brazos de la muerte” (Christ in the Arms of Death) carved by Ricardo Flecha and the only replica of the Santo Cáliz (Holy Chalice) preserved outside the former Crown of Aragon.
Guided visits to several churches on the route are also organised from the centre, by prior booking.
