About the museum
Experiencia 43 is the visitor centre of the Licor 43 factory in Cartagena, where this liqueur has been made since the mid-20th century. The guided tour covers the museum and the production area and, depending on the brand, explains the history, origin and making of Spain's most international liqueur.
There are two types of visit. The Premium Visit lasts around 1 hour and 45 minutes and includes a tasting of Licor 43 Original, the tour of the museum and production area, the presentation and tasting of two house cocktails, a tasting of the varieties and a small snack. The Masterclass Visit lasts around 2 hours and 30 minutes and adds a sensory experience with the ingredients, a cocktail workshop and a tasting of the full range of flavours.
The facilities are in the Los Camachos industrial estate. The bottling line does not operate at weekends or on public holidays.
