About the museum
The Dreamfactory in Degersheim combines an experience museum, which calls itself the "ZauberWeltenMuseum" (Magic Worlds Museum), with an event venue for up to 240 people. On more than 3,500 square metres, the house presents collections on magic, original film props and costumes from Hollywood, wax figures, nostalgic music automatons and themed worlds around Barbie, LEGO and the circus.
Particularly well known are the largest collection of magic boxes in Switzerland and a collection of over 300 ventriloquist dummies. The tour leads through the "Catacombs of Oddities"; many instruments and hands-on stations can be tried out. Outside museum hours, dinner shows with magic, music and a meal as well as corporate and private parties take place. A support association backs cultural, music and art projects of the Magic Worlds.
