About the museum
The Wenigzell local history museum is housed in a building erected in 1803 as a toll mill. Since 1964 it has served as a museum of the history of the village and of rural everyday life. The building is looked after by the municipality of Wenigzell; its tasks also include preserving the mill wheel.
The attic shows the processing of flax, the ground floor the path from grain to finished bread. Pictures and old implements can also be seen. The museum is close to the village centre and is a destination on several hiking routes in the Joglland region.
