About the museum
The Muzeum Vysoký kámen presents objects of Czechoslovak fortifications from 1936–1938 and their use after the war. The main exhibit is the heavy infantry blockhouse K-S 25 “Na sedle”, which stands in the forests near Suchý vrch. According to the operator, it is the only Czechoslovak fortification object that has retained its original interior fittings. The blockhouse was opened to the public on 5 June 2021.
The museum also makes accessible three light fortification structures of model 37 (vz. 37) on the Mladkov section, adapted to different periods of their existence: to the state of the German reactivation of 1944–1945, to the state at the time of testing by the German army, and to the state of the post-war reactivation. These objects are opened on request.
The museum is private. In 2014 its operator bought premises of 1,000 m² for permanent exhibitions and storerooms, where thousands of further exhibits from aviation, the military and technology are kept.
