About the museum
Mini World Lyon opens in the Carré de Soie in Vaulx-en-Velin, in the Lyon metropolitan area. The park, located at the far end of the shopping centre, occupies more than 3,000 m² indoors.
The route presents animated miniature sets across five worlds: the city, the mountains, the countryside, Lyon and the Côte d’Azur. Around 70,000 little inhabitants populate the scenes, and visitors can look for amusing details and famous characters.
The park also offers temporary exhibitions included in the ticket, such as “Mission Illusion” until October 31, 2026, as well as a guided behind-the-scenes tour.

Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie · 5-min walk
Tram T3 or metro line A, stop “Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie”, then about 5 minutes on foot; bus C8 and 52, stop “Carré de Soie”.
By car
Free parking
Free car park of the Carré de Soie shopping centre, 1,800 spaces. Vélo’v stations 12001 La Soie and 12002 rue de la Poudrette.
The park is at the far end of the Carré de Soie shopping centre, between Boulanger and Carrefour. About 15 minutes from central Lyon via the northern ring road. Rhônexpress shuttle from the airport to Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie.
