About the museum
The museum is located on the central square of the bastide of Francescas, about 13 km south-east of Nérac. It occupies a house that has kept its original facades, dating from 1579, while its interior was renovated in the 20th century.
It displays dozens of tin boxes from all five continents. Once luxury objects and later advertising carriers, some are very old. Pyramid-shaped glass shelves allow each box to be seen while protecting it. The objects reflect everyday life and invite visitors on a journey around the world.
