About the museum

The Audi Forum Neckarsulm is the visitor and customer center of AUDI AG at its Neckarsulm production site, where vehicle manufacturing began as early as 1906 with the NSU works. The complex was built in several phases: a customer service center was completed in 2002, a parking garage in 2003, and finally, in 2005, the forum building itself, designed by the Düsseldorf firm Beucker Maschlanka und Partner.

The glass building, about 100 meters long, with an aluminum facade and steel frame, alludes to the lightweight construction of Audi car bodies. Its three oval levels house the new-car handover area for customers picking up their cars, exhibition spaces, shops, the restaurant Nuvolari, and a conference area. Between its opening and 2014, nearly 1.8 million guests visited.

For visitors not buying a car, the main attraction is the freely accessible exhibitions: in addition to current models, the forum presents items from Audi and NSU history in changing special exhibitions – historic cars and motorcycles, race cars, and design studies. There are also paid factory tours through production as well as cultural and family events.
