About the museum
The Heimatmuseum of Bad Brambach is housed in a former farm estate built in 1811 on Zollstraße. The building is a listed monument.
The exhibition shows the way of life and history of the spa town. The exhibits cover local history, customs, culture, crafts and the development of the healing spa. A focus is on the crafts important to Brambach, especially instrument making: original workshops of former bow makers and violin makers can be viewed, along with a line for processing flax.
In the summer season the museum is open on two afternoons per week.
