About the museum
The Protestant church of Wiebelskirchen stands on a spur above the Blies and is visible from afar. Its 46-meter tower is considered the oldest building in the town of Neunkirchen in its lower part; the present Neo-Romanesque nave was built in 1862/63 on the site of several earlier buildings.
In the attic of the church, which can be reached via the tower, the parish has set up a small museum. It is looked after by the Evangelische Hoffnungskirchengemeinde (Wiebelskirchen section) and can only be visited by prior arrangement through the parish office; admission is free.
