About the museum
Since 1995 the Höckendorf local history museum has been housed in a small half-timbered house that was formerly a smithy and dwelling. It is located opposite the Gasthof Erbgericht inn. The collection offers an insight into everyday life in earlier times with objects from the household, crafts and farming, and an exhibition on lace-making. For a small fee, visitors can strike a commemorative coin themselves.
