About the museum

Since 2003 the Kunsthalle has occupied part of the former Brennabor works in Brandenburg an der Havel. The imposing red-brick factory building was erected from 1888 and once produced the traditional Brennabor vehicles.

Today over 600 square meters of exhibition space are available. Contemporary art of all kinds is shown, usually in six changing exhibitions per year, accompanied by workshops and education and event programs. The house is run by the friends' association of the Kunsthalle Brennabor.
