About the museum
The pasta museum is part of the Nudelcenter of Teigwaren Riesa GmbH on Merzdorfer Straße. It documents the development of pasta production in Riesa and the nearly 100-year tradition of Riesa pasta.
Displays include historical exhibits, machines and photos that capture important events in the company's history. A cinema shows a film about the journey of pasta from grain to packaged macaroni.
The pasta center also houses the Gläserne Produktion (glass production), a restaurant and café, and the Nudelkontor with over 100 types of pasta. Visitors can combine the museum with a tour of the production.
