About the museum
The Eulerhof in Ransbach-Baumbach, located in the Westerwald Kannenbäckerland region, has been a pottery business since 1886. At that time, the potter Jakob Zöller acquired the residential house, workshop and kiln and produced the traditional blue-grey stoneware there. Today, the great-grandson of the founder, master ceramicist Michael Gerharz, runs the pottery as a family business.
A private museum is integrated into the workshop. On display is a listed 17th-century jug kiln (Kannenofen) with the preserved kiln house and firing chamber. An exhibition is devoted to salt-glazed stoneware. The workshop and sales rooms are part of the tour.
